First screen example:     Press F1 on any column heading to find out what it means, i.e., PRE is permanent read error, TRE is temporary read error.

F11 again will produce a different view of the tape data – Permanent write errors, temporary write errors.

F11 again, another screen – Bytes written and mounts – the number of times this tape was mounted to do a write operation.

F11 again to get first and last times tape was used.

You will also see error messages in qsysopr about cleaning tape drive, and media errors.  Pay close attention to which tape is in the drive when you get those error messages.
