If you are having problems printing to an AS/400 system printer (not a client access printer), you may need to force the printer writer to end.  To do this, go to an AS/400 command line and type:

    ENDWTR  printername  *IMMED  (press enter)

    For example:

    ENDWTR  PRT01  *IMMED

    Then do a WRKWTR and press F5 to make sure that the status changes to END

    Use option 1 to start the writer again.
