Here are the instructions on how to disable the network card timeout.

    1.      Left Menu Button to NETWORK MENU.  Press Select
2. The display will say STANDARD NETWORK if the printer is an Optra T with the network card built in or NETWORK OPTION 1 if it is a Non network version or Optra S printer. Press Select
3. The display will read PCL SMARTSWITCH. Press the Left Menu Button so the display reads STD NET SETUP. Press Select.
4. The display will read. STD NET SETUP/PRINT. Press the Right Menu Button unit the display reads NETWORK CARD and press Select.
5. Press the Right Menu Button until the display reads JOB TIMEOUT. Press Select.
6. Use the Left Menu Button to change the displayed number (default is 90) to 0 and then press Select. The printer should say SAVED This will disable the Job Timeout on the network card.
    7.      Press the Go key to return to the READY state.
