Adding the Client Access file transfer icons to Excel (2003,2007,2010)
Open up Excel, click on tools, addins. |

Click Browse |
|
Browse to the c: drive, then program files, ibm, clientaccess, shared |
|
|
File name is cwbtfxla.xll Click ok |
|
Verify the client access data transfer is in the list; click ok. |
|
The icons should show up on the tool bar |
|
If not, click View, toolbars, and select client access. |
|
Office 2007 |
|
Click on the Excel button |
|
Then Excel options |
|
Click on Add Ins |
|
Near the bottom of the dialog, there is a pull-down box of items to manage. Ensure Excel Add-ins is selected, and click on the Go button. |

Click Browse.. |
|
Navigate to the installation path of iSeries Access (which is typically C:Program FilesIBMClient Access) |
|
|
Double click on the cwbtfxla and click ok |
|
The following will be displayed |

Excel 2013 |
Click on File, options |
Addins |
|
Click on view/manage – Change from Excel to COM |
Click Add - |
Browse to the iSeries Access installed location – could be different on your PC. |
