Disabled userids with drive mapping/network neighborhood

Checking for disabled userids with drive mapping/network neighborhood

This is helpful when drives are mapped in the IFS (Integrated File System) on the iSeries, and someone is disabled.  The messages will also show in QSYSOPR, as below:

Open up iSeries Navigator, file systems, right mouse click on File Shares

Open i5/OS Netserver.

Click on Disabled User IDs.

Check to see if there are any IDs that are disabled.

Click “Enabled User ID”, and OK.

The user is enabled for IFS access again.

The user cannot be enabled through the WRKUSRPRF command on the green screen.
